A Lesson in Disability

Last night, Ben yelled up to me from downstairs, "Honey, David Paterson is going to be on Colbert." Then I overheard the following "conversation" between Ben and Sully:

BEN: Did you hear that, puppy? He's blind, which means he probably has a puppy like you to help him get around. Except, unlike you, that puppy probably does not try to eat out of trash.

Of course, when I googled David Paterson, who is the current governor of New York, to see if there were pics of him with a guide dog, I learned that he uses neither a dog or a cane. But still, it was a cute moment.
