A Dialogue

After an afternoon of reading theory on the couch, an activity which allows Sully hours of petting time:

SULLY: So Mom, remember last spring when you sat on this couch for like 15 hours a day and read? And I just sat here and you would pet me? That. Was. Awesome.

ANN: Yes, I remember. You made those long days easier, but I didn't think it was awesome.

SULLY: No, I think it was awesome.
